Changing the Mode From YT to XY

A YT oscilloscope mode can be changed into a XY Mode in many places.

To change the mode:

To change the mode with Drag & Drop:

Drag a measure variable from the signal list into the horizontal time axis scale.
The measure variable will replace the time axis. The measure variable will appear directly next to the scale. The oscilloscope is in the XY mode.

To change the mode via toolbar:

In the oscilloscope toolbar, click on Scroll Mode.
Select the XY Mode.
The first measure variable in the signal list will automatically replace the time axis. The oscilloscope is in the XY mode.

To change the mode via Display Configuration:

In the context menu, select the Properties menu function.
The oscilloscope display settings appear in the Variable Selection dialog.
Double-click on the Mode field in the Widgets table.
Select XY Mode.
Confirm the changes with OK.

The first measure variable in the signal list will automatically replace the time axis. The oscilloscope is in the XY mode.

Note
If an XY oscilloscope contains fewer than two measure variables, no measurements can be displayed. Add more measure variables.
