YT and XY Oscilloscope Toolbar

The toolbar contains the following symbols:

Starts/pauses the oscilloscope display. This occurs independently of the comprehensive experiment display. While the oscilloscope display is paused, it can be viewed by moving the time axis.

Increases the horizontal axis view.

Decreases the horizontal axis view.

Sizes both axes for a complete presentation of the measurements.

Copies the currently displayed oscilloscope content into the clipboard.

Opens a print dialog box to print the currently displayed oscilloscope content.

Opens a dialog box to save the currently displayed oscilloscope content as an image file. You can choose from multiple image file formats.

Creates a cursor for the horizontal axis (YT oscilloscope) / creates a cursor for both axes (XY oscilloscope).

Determines the display mode. The following modes are available for selection:

  • Scrolling: point by point display. The display area follows the curves.
  • Wrap around curtain: point by point display. The display area remains fixed, the preceding display section remains and is overwritten by the next section.
  • Wrap around clear: point by point display. The display area remains fixed, the preceding display section is deleted immediately.
  • XY Mode: representation switches into XY mode. The horizontal time axis is replaced by the first signal in the signal list.

Sets which axes can be expanded. The display can only be expanded when paused. The following options are available:

  • No Zoom: expansion is disabled.
  • Zoom Time Only: A horizontal axis section can be marked and enlarged.
  • Zoom Value Only: a y-axis section can be marked and enlarged.
  • Zoom Box: any given frame can be marked and enlarged.

Determines the signal list position. Hide Legend turns the signal list display off.
