Setting the Visualization of Monitoring Bounds in Measure Windows
Whenever the measured values exceed or fall below specified monitoring bounds, this can be visualized in one of the following ways:
Marker
If this option is selected, a red or blue marker is displayed whenever the specified bounds are exceeded or undercut.
Background color
If this option is selected, the background color of the measure window changes whenever the specified bounds are exceeded or undercut.

You can also assign acoustic signals being played when bounds get exceeded. This can be configured in the Windows Control Panel under Sounds and Audio Devices. For further information see the INCA Getting Started manual. |
To set the display type:
Select Properties from the context menu of the measure window.
The Properties dialog box opens.
Double-click in the value field of the Monitor bounds visualization column.
The Monitor bounds visualization dialog box opens.
- Open the combo-box for the visualization method and select Background color.
- Select the color for the background in the measure window that will be displayed when the measured value falls below the specified lower bound.
- Select the color for the background in the measure window that will be displayed when the measured value exceeds the specified upper bound.
- Select the color for the background in the measure window that will be displayed when the measure values are within the specified monitoring bounds.
- Click OK to confirm your settings.
Note |
If the visualization method Marker is selected, you can not modify the colors for exceeding or undercutting the monitoring bounds. |
