You can make the following settings for output files in DCM format:
DCM format version
Defines the version of the DCM format.
DCM write comments
Defines whether additional information in the form of comments is added to the DCM output file.
Reduced function output
Defines what variables are recorded in the function output.
Yes
Records only the variables in the output file that are defined in a function.
No
Records the variables to the output file that are either defined or used in a function.
List mixed maps
Defines whether Mixed Axes are filed out to the DCM output file according to ASAM MCD2 standard.
Yes
Mixed axes are filed out according to ASAM MCD2 standard (not conform to DCM standard).
No
Mixed axes are not filed out.
LongName with CR/LF
ASAP2 allows the usage of long names for variables that stretch across several lines in the ASAP2 file (*.a2l).
This option determines whether long names with line breaks are accepted in DCM files.
Yes
Variable long names with line breaks are accepted; the line breaks are read in from DCM files and written to DCM files.
No
Variable long names with line breaks are not accepted (default setting).
The corresponding variable is not read in, and an error message is displayed.
When writing a DCM file, the line breaks are replaced by the string \n\r, and the parts of the variable long name are written into one line.Note
If the option is set to No, a later comparison between the INCA project and the DCM file will detect differences for the long name, because line breaks are considered as different from the string \n\r.
