Comparing Single Variables - Inline Compare View
To compare individual variables of a dataset with the variable of another dataset and display the dataset comparison in the Inline Editor:
Using the single column view
Select a source dataset in the Comparison source group field.
You can use an INCA dataset or a dataset file in one of the formats CVX (*.csv), DAMOS (*.dcm), CDF V2.0 (*.cdfx) or PaCo (*.xml).
Select the destination dataset in the Comparing destination group field.
You can use INCA datasets and/or dataset files in one of the formats CVX (*.csv), DAMOS (*.dcm), CDF V2.0 (*.cdfx) or PaCo (*.xml).
Right-click on the selected destination dataset and select Inline Compare.

appears in front of the selected dataset.Note
To change the current destination dataset, click on the desired dataset or use the Up arrow and Down arrow keys on your keyboard. The blue arrow moves to the selected dataset.
Select the desired variable from the Variables & functions to process list.
In the Inline Editor the values of the selected variable are displayed.

Using the multi column view
Select a source dataset in the Comparison source group field.
You can use an INCA dataset or a dataset file in one of the formats CVX (*.csv), DAMOS (*.dcm), CDF V2.0 (*.cdfx) or PaCo (*.xml).
Select the destination dataset in the Comparing destination group field.
You can use INCA datasets and/or dataset files in one of the formats CVX (*.csv), DAMOS (*.dcm), CDF V2.0 (*.cdfx) or PaCo (*.xml).
If the Variables & functions to process list does not display the multi column view, in the View menu, select Switch view.
Select the desired variable from the Variables & functions to process list.
To change the selected variable in the Variables & functions to process list, use the Arrow keys on your keyboard.
In the Inline Editor the values of the selected variable are displayed.
