Reassigning All Measure Variables to a New Predefined Raster
Predefined rasters for measure variables can be defined in A2L files. INCA can use this information to set up an experiment. When loading a new version of an A2L file within the experiment, the predefined raster may have changed. The command Reassign all to predefined raster adapts your experiment to a new A2L file. INCA checks and reassigns all measure variables according to the new predefined raster of the A2L file.
This functionality is particularly useful for multi-core ECUs where rasters are defined for each core.
To reassign predefined rasters for all measure variables:
- In the Variable Selection Dialog, select the Variables Configuration tab.
- In the Sources pane, click Sources.
Select All Sources, a device, Functions, a group or a container.
or
In the Variables pane, select multiple measure variables.
Right-click the selected source and select Reassign all to predefined rasters.
The Raster Reassignment Result dialog box opens and displays the number of measurements which have been processed and reassigned.
