Export Optimization Problem to MOCA (ASCMO-STATIC)

Optimization > Export to MOCA.

The Export Optimization Problem to MOCA window contains the following elements:

Choose a File Path and Name

  • File Name field and button

Enter or select (via the button) path and name of the resulting ASCMO-MOCA project file.

If you do not enter a path, the ASCMO-MOCA project file is stored in the same directory as your ASCMO-STATIC project.

  • Open MOCA after Creation checkbox

If activated, the new project file is opened in ASCMO-MOCA.

Specify dependency of non OP axes

In this area, you can define the way the normal inputs depend on the operating point axes.

  • <input> field

Use the drop-down list to specify the input's dependency on the operating point axes. Available selections:

    Curve(<op axis i>)

one curve for each operating point axis

    Map(<op axis i>, <op axis j>)

one map for each combination of two operating point axes (up to 6 maps)

    Cube3d(<op axis i>, <op axis j>, <op axis k>)

one 3D cube for each combination of three operating point axes (up to 4 cubes)

    Note

Only available if three operating point axes have been selected; see also OP-Axis.

    Cube4d(<op axis i>, <op axis j>, <op axis k>, <op axis l>)

one 4D cube that depends on all operating point axes

    Note

Only available if four operating point axes have been selected; see also OP-Axis.

  • use for all next to the first <input> field

If you click this button, the selection of the first normal input is selected for all normal inputs.

Choose Data Source

  • Use Training Data: training data are used for the export.

  • Use Combined Drive Cycle: combined data of all driving cycles are used for the export.

    Note

If your project contains driving cycles with different operating point axes, Use Combined Drive Cycle does not work.

Include the following Restrictions in Export

  • OP-dependent Input Bounds checkbox: activate to include OP-dependent bounds of inputs with curve or map dependencies in the export.

  • Convex Hull on Inputs checkbox: activate to export optimization problem to ASCMO-MOCA with Hull on Inputs (Convex Hull on data).

Advanced Options

  • Replace Discrete Inputs by Continuous Inputs checkbox: activate to use continuous inputs instead of discrete inputs.

OK

Closes the window and starts the export.

Cancel

Closes the window without starting the export.
