File Menu (ASCMO-STATIC)

The File menu consists of the following entries:

New

Opens a new start screen where a new ASCMO-STATIC project can be created (by importing training data).

Clone

Clones the current, opened ASCMO-STATIC project and opens it as a new untitled, unsaved file.

Open

Opens an ASCMO-STATIC project (*.ascmo).

Recent Projects

Opens a list with most recently edited projects.

Save

Saves the current ASCMO-STATIC project.

Save as

Saves the current ASCMO-STATIC project under a different name.

Save as Template

Here you can save the current ASCMO-STATIC project as template.

When you open now the ASCMO-STATIC project with the saved template, you have to import the ASCMO Data.

You can notice that the models in the ISP view are not trained. So you have to click on Model Start ASC GP Model Training after the import.

Properties

A window opens in which the properties of the current project are displayed. The customer name, a project title and a comment can be added - the project can also be assigned a write protection.

See also Setting Project Properties.

Import Data

Contains menu options for importing data files.

New Project with changed Channels

Opens the "ASCMO Data Import" window and preselects the original channels.

You can refine the selections of inputs and outputs. When you click on OK, the originally imported file is imported again and a new project with the changed channel selections is created.

Training

A dialog window for the selection of training data to be imported (*.xls) opens. After selecting the file, a window opens in which the columns of the new file can be appended to existing inputs and outputs. Under Modification Mode, it is possible to add them to existing data ("Append") or replace them ("Replace").

Selecting Show under "Table Values" displays a table with the data to be imported.

Note

When additional training data is added, it does not necessarily need to contain all channels.

Test

Allows importing of test data into a project (see Import Training Data).

Note

When additional test data is added, it does not necessarily need to contain all channels.

Add Output Channel

Enables further outputs to be added by importing measure data from an Excel or CSV file. Import is only possible if the selected data from the file corresponds to the training data already contained in the project.

Export Data

Contains menu options for exporting data.

Training

Exports the current training data to an Excel file.

Test

Exports the current test data to an Excel file.

Channel Config Exports the current configuration of the channels in a configuration file (*.ini).
Export Model

Contains menu options for exporting the model to various formats. See also Overview: Exports Supported by Model Type.

Matlab Exports the model to MATLAB *.m file; see also Model Export to MATLAB®
INCA/MDA Exports the model to perl modules for use with INCA/MDA; see also Model Export to INCA/MDA
Python Script Exports the model to python class (*.py); see also Model Export to Python Script
Simulink Model

Exports the model to Simulink model (*.mdl or *.slx); see also Model Export to Simulink® Model

Note

Requires a Simulink installation on the computer.

Simulink Script

Exports the model to a MATLAB script (*.m) that can later be used to create a Simulink model; see also Model Export to Simulink® Script

Note

No Simulink installation required.

Excel Macro Exports the model to VBA script (*.bas) for use with Excel; see also Model Export to Excel Macro

FMI Exports the model to an *.fmu file; see also Model Export to FMI

Embedded AI Coder

Exports the model as a JSON file for use in ETAS Embedded AI Coder. See Export to Embedded AI Coder.

Bosch Flatbuffer

Exports the model as *.cdfx, *.dcm, *.hex and *.bin for Bosch Flatbuffer.

Bosch AMU

Exports the model as *.dcm/*.cdfx for Bosch AMU.

Options

Opens the "Options" window where you can make user-specific settings.

Close

Closes the current ASCMO-STATIC project and returns to the start window.

Exit

Exits ASCMO-STATIC – if changes have been made to the project since its last opening, they can be saved or discarded before exiting.
