Importing Measurement Data to a Signal

Open the signal in the signal viewer.
In the signal viewer, open the File menu, point to Store Imported Data In and select <format> Format for the internal storage of the signal data.
For a list of formats, see Signal Viewer. When you select the MDF or FAMOS format for the import, you can select and view different time frames.
Open the File menu and select Import.
The Windows file selection dialog window opens.

Select the path and file name of the data file you want to import and click Open.

Here, you can use measurement data you have created and saved during an experiment before. ASCET can import the formats MDF V2.* and MDF V3.*, but the enhancements of versions higher than V2.0 are ignored.

If you selected an MDF file with a version number higher than V2.0, the following warning message opens.

You are running a simulation using MDF data with version [Version String]. ASCET supports MDF V2.0 only. Not all signal attributes/features might be supported.

In the message window, do the following.
1. If you want to apply your answer to all such cases, activate Don't show this hint again.
2. Confirm the message with OK.
The data is imported and automatically converted to the specified format. After conversion, the data is displayed in the viewer.
