Edit Menu

This menu contains the following functions:

Undo (<Ctrl> + <z>)

Reverses the most recent action.

Redo (<Ctrl> + <y>)

Reverses an undo command.

Cut (<Ctrl> + <x>)

In the Graphics tab: Cuts (deletes and copies to the ASCET clipboard) a selected diagram element.

Copy (<Ctrl> + <c>)

In the Graphics tab: Copies a selected diagram element to the ASCET clipboard.

In the Outline tab: Copies an element from the list.

Paste (<Ctrl> + <v>)

In the Graphics tab: Pastes a diagram item.

In the Outline tab: Pastes an element to the list.

Delete (<Del>)

Deletes a selected element.

Rename (<F2>)

Renames a selected element.

Search (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <s>)

Searches the project. Apart from a more limited search range, the commands function in the same way as described in Browsing the Database.

Select All (<Ctrl> + <a>)

Selects all elements in the Specification view.

Replace Component

Replaces an included component with another component. The name of the old component remains.

Open Component

Opens the specification editor for a selected included component.

Notes

Opens the notes editor for an included component – you can make notes about the included component here.

Properties (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <p>)

Edits the properties of the selected element.

Data (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <d>)

Opens the data editor for the selected element.

Implementation (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <i>)

The implementation editor for the selected element opens. Search of component implementations is possible.
