Rescalable Implementations
To ease specification of implementations that differ only in scale, ASCET offers rescalable implementations. For a rescalable implementation, you mark the implementation of elements in a component as rescalable (i.e. you create rescalable elements), and assign a rescaling factor to each instance of the component used a particular project.
Not all elements can be rescalable; see Elements with Rescalable Implementation for details.
Several rules apply when you are using rescalable elements in a model; see Operations with Rescalable Elements for details.
For details on the rescaling factor (i.e. a linear formula with zero offset) for component instances, see Components with Rescalable Elements.
A step-by-step instruction is given in Specifying Rescalable Implementations.
