Structure of the Target Directories
Note |
|---|
Since V6.4.6, ASCET‑RP supports only the ES900 hardware system. Projects with an ES1000 hardware configuration cannot be used. To work with RTPRO-PC hardware configurations, you have to use an external INTECRIO V4.7.2 or older as hardware configurator |
Target-specific information for the rapid prototyping targets are stored in subdirectories of the
ASCET subdirectory | E-Target | Simulation Node |
.\Target\ES910 | ES910.2 / ES910.3 | ES910 |
..\Target\QNx86 | RTPRO-PC | RTPRO-PC |
..\Target\Prototyping | (determined in INTECRIO) | |
Previous ASCET versions also supported ES1000 and RTPRO-PC targets. In ASCETV6.4.10, the ES1000 targets are unavailable. The RTPRO-PC target can be used only with an external INTECRIO V4.7.2 or lower as hardware configurator.
To use the RTPRO-PC target, with ASCETV6.4.10, you need a working installation of INTECRIO V4.7.2 or lower as hardware configurator.
All makefiles and build scripts support paths with blanks.
- If a path containing blanks is to be used in a makefile, ASCET converts it to short Windows format (for example, c:\Documents and Settings would be converted to c:\DOCUME~1).
- If a path containing blanks is to be used in a batch file, ASCET generates it encapsulated in ", or converts it to short Windows format.
It is not necessary to change the target root path in the ASCET options window to correspond to the target.
