RTPRO-PC – Startup

Since V6.4.6, ASCET‑RP supports only the ES900 hardware system. Projects with an ES1000 hardware configuration cannot be used. To work with RTPRO-PC hardware configurations, you have to use an external INTECRIO V4.7.2 or older as hardware configurator (see Selecting an External Hardware Configurator).

To work with RTPRO-PC hardware configurations, you have to use an external INTECRIO V4.7.2 or older as hardware configurator (see Selecting an External Hardware Configurator).

The Realtime Prototyping for PC platform is started with the POWER ON switch of your notebook. After that, BIOS takes control and starts the GRUB bootloader.

The bootloader offers the following boot configurations:

Windows
ETAS RTPRO-PC and Windows
ETAS RTPRO-PC (standalone hypervisor mode)

You must select ETAS RTPRO-PC and Windows or ETAS RTPRO-PC to use RTPRO-PC.
