Setting up an Asynchronous Event

1. Open the Event dialog window for the event.

2. Select signalled from the Mode combo box.

   If no signal has been selected in the data generator (see Data Generator), the following error message is displayed:

   DataGenerator has not valid signal assigned!

   Advice: Please assign a signal at DataGenerator to switch an event to mode SIGNALLED.

3. To remove the error, proceed as follows:

   1. Confirm the error message with OK.
   2. In the Physical Experiment window, click the Open Data Generator button to open the data generator.
   3. Define a signal as described in Defining a Signal.
   4. Repeat the first two steps of the instruction.
   5. Choose the desired time raster, if the signal contains multiple rasters.
4. Click OK to accept the settings.
