Assigning an Element to a Calibration Window

Note

Arrays, matrices and characteristic lines/maps specified as explicit references cannot be calibrated.

This instruction does not explain calibration of arrays/matrices of record type. See Calibrating an Array or Matrix of Record Type instead.

  1. In the Calibration Window combo box, select a calibration window.

This combo box offers the entry <New Calibration Editor>, as well as the existing calibration windows (e.g., Table Editor; 1 or Numeric Editor; 4).

  2. In the Outline tab of the experimentation environment, select the element(s) you want to calibrate.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • In the Extras menu or in the element's context menu, select Calibrate.
    • Drag the element from the Outline tab or the drawing area and drop it into the Calibration Window combo box.
    • Drag the element from the Outline tab or the drawing area and drop it into an existing calibration window.

The selected elements are added to the calibration window. If you selected elements that need different calibration windows than the one selected in the Calibration Window combo box, one calibration window of each required type is created, and the respective elements are assigned.
