Assigning an Element to a New Measurement Window

From the Measurement Window combo box, select the type of measurement window you want to use.
The available types are listed in brackets, e.g., <2. New Oscilloscope>.
In the Outline tab, select one or more elements that you want to assign to a measurement window.
Do one of the following:
- In the Extras menu or in the elements' context menu, select Measure.
- Drag the elements from the Outline tab to the Measurement Window combo box.
- Drag an occurrence of the element from the block diagram display to the Measurement Window combo box.
A new measurement window is opened and the selected element is added to the measurement window. If you selected several elements, all are assigned to the window.

The Measurement Window combo box also shows the titles of all measurement windows that are already open. The entries for open windows are displayed without brackets, e.g. Oscilloscope; 1. If you have changed the title of a measurement window, that title is listed in the combo box.
