Find/Replace Dialog Window

This dialog window is opened with the Find/Replace option in the Edit menu or <Ctrl> + <f> in the text editors.

The Find/Replace window contains the following elements:

• Find field

  This field is used to enter a search string.

• Replace With field

  This field is used to enter a replace string.

• Direction area

  Use the Forward and Backward options to determine the search direction.

• Case Sensitive option

  If activated, the search is case sensitive.

• Wrap Search option

  If activated, the search continues at the beginning once it has reached the end in the search direction.

• Find Next

  Finds the next occurrence of the search string.

• Replace/Find

  Replaces the selected occurrence and searches for the next one.

• Replace Selection

  Replaces the selected text with the replace string.

• Replace All

  Replaces all occurrences of the search string.

  Note
  The scope of Replace All is the method/process shown in the Specification view, even if Search in All Methods/Processes is activated.

• Search in All Methods/Processes option

  If activated, all methods/processes of the component are searched.

  If deactivated, only the method/process shown in the Specification view is searched.

• Occurrences field

  Note
  Only visible when Search in All Methods/Processes is activated.

  Lists all methods/processes that contain the search string. A double-click on an entry opens the method/process in the Specification view.
