Analyzing an ESDL Diagram

As for block diagrams, you do not have to generate the complete code each time, there is an analysis function.

1. In the Build menu, select Analyze Diagram.

   <Review> - obsolete text removed

   The diagram is checked for syntactic errors. Detected errors are listed in the ASCET monitor window.

2. Click an error message in the monitor window, Messages tab, to have the error highlighted automatically in the ESDL editor.
