Opening a Data Editor

This instruction does not apply to arrays and characteristic lines larger than 2048 elements, and matrices and characteristic maps with one or both axes larger than 63. If you want to edit the data of such an array or matrix or characteristic line/map, proceed as described in Editing Data of a Large Array or Matrix.

In the "Outline" tab of the component editor, highlight the element you want to edit.
Do one of the following:
- In the Edit menu, select Data.
- Right-click the element and select Data from the context menu.
Or – if you want to edit the data set of the component –
Do one of the following:
- In the Edit menu, point to Component and select Data.
- Click the Edit Component Data button.
The data editor for the selected element or component opens.
