Renaming and Deleting Elements

1. In the "Outline" tab, select an element.

2. Do one of the following to rename the element:

   Note
   Element names must not begin with a number. If you enter a name that begins with a number, an allowed name is suggested instead.

   • In the Edit menu, select Rename.

   • Open the context menu and select Rename.

   • Press the F2 key.

3. Do one of the following to delete the element:

   Note
   If the element you want to delete is assigned to a column, the column is also deleted. If the element is part of the specification of a condition or instruction, this specification is not deleted automatically. You must make any necessary changes manually. To make sure that you delete only unused elements, follow the instructions in Showing and Deleting Unused Elements.

   • In the Edit menu, select Delete to delete the element.

   • Open the context menu and select Delete.

   • Press the Del key.

   A confirmation window opens.

4. Confirm the deletion with OK.

   The element is deleted from the conditional table.
