Modeling Options

The Modeling node contains options for modeling with ASCET.

Use Project OptionsTemplate

Activates/deactivates the use of an XML file as template for project settings of new projects.

Project Options Template

Name and path of the XML file which is used as template for the project settings (only available if Use Project Options Template is activated).

Block Library

Name and path of the block library file that is used as default.

Use View Configuration

If enabled, the specified view configuration will be used as default for new databases/workspaces.

View Configuration

Name and path of the view configuration file which is used as default (only available if Use View Configuration is activated).

Enable Creation of AUTOSAR components

If activated, AUTOSAR components (i.e. AUTOSAR software components, AUTOSAR interfaces, and mode groups) can be created via the Insert menu.

Default 1D Interpolation

Defines the default interpolation routine used for newly created characteristic lines.

Default 2D Interpolation

Defines the default interpolation routine used for newly created characteristic maps.

The subnodes Default Block Layout, Implementation, and Reproduce As contain further options.

If you have created user-defined system constants, there is also a subnode User-defined System Constants, which contains one subnode for each user-defined system constant. For the meaning of the options in those nodes, see the descriptions in the Options window.
