Renaming or Deleting an Element (BDE)

In the Outline tab, select an element.
In the Edit menu, select Rename to rename the element.
Note
Element names must not begin with a number. If you enter a name that begins with a number, an allowed name is suggested instead.
Remove all graphical occurrences of the element you want to delete.
You can use the Show Occurrences command in the Extras menu to select the graphical occurrences in the diagram for removal.
Note
You can delete an element only after all graphical occurrences in all diagrams have been removed.
In the Edit menu, select Delete.
The element is deleted from the component.
