Setting the Options for Documentation Generation

  1. In the Component Manager, open the Tools menu, then point to Documentation and select Options.

If you do so for the first time, you are asked to provide a path to a LaTeX installation. Proceed as described in Providing a Path to LaTeX, and repeat step 1 of this instruction.

The ASCET Document Options dialog window opens.

  2. Enter author and title of the generated document in the respective fields.

  3. Select the view of the documentation file from the View combo box (see Views for details).

  4. Select the document format from the Output Format combo box.

The documentation file can be generated in ASCII, RTF, HTML, or Postscript format.

To generate documentation in postscript/PDF format, you need a LaTeX installation (e.g., MikTex V2.8, available on the ASCET installation disk or on https://miktex.org).

  5. Click OK.

The options are used the next time you generate documentation.
