Creating and Using a Default View Configuration

You can create a view configuration that is used as default for newly created databases and workspaces.

In the Component Manager, point to the Tools menu and select Options.
The Options window opens.
In the Options window, open the Modeling node.
Activate the Use View Configuration option.
In the View Configuration field, enter or select (via the button) the view configuration file to be used as default configuration.
You can use, for example, an XML file exported from the Views window (see Exporting Views).
Close the Options window with OK.

Newly created databases and workspaces will use the view configuration(s) stored in the configuration file. Existing databases and workspaces are not affected.
