Creating a Mode Group

A mode group is created in the Component Manager.

1. In the ASCET options window, Modeling node, activate the Enable Creation of AUTOSAR Components option.

   Note
   Without activated Enable Creation of AUTOSAR Components option, you cannot create AUTOSAR components.

2. In the Component Manager, open the Insert menu, point to AUTOSAR and select Mode Group.

   A new mode group is created with a default name. The initial mode is displayed in the 1 Contents field.

3. Edit the name and press <Enter>.
4. Edit the mode group.
