Updating Items (Simple Mode)

Proceed as follows to update items to a selected revision number:

  1. In the ASCET component manager, select the items you want to update.

  2. In the SCM menu, select Update.

    The Update dialog box (Simple Mode) opens. It shows the previously selected items in the Repository Content pane. The latest revisions are automatically selected and appear in the Selected Revision table.

  3. Modify the selection when necessary.

    1. Select a revision in the Selected Revision table and click .

      The revision is removed from the table.

    2. Select a different revision in the Available Revision table and click .

      The revision is copied to the Selected Revision table.

  4. Repeat the previous step with different items when necessary.

  5. Click the Update button to start the update.

    A dialog box opens listing the results of the operation.

Note

If you select a folder, the Update command does not search for items in the same folder that exist in the repository but not yet in the ASCET database/workspace. To retrieve new items, use the Checkout command.
