Creating a Configuration (Simple Mode)

If you need to store a new revision of an existing configuration, use Commit Configuration.

To create a new configuration:

In the ASCET component manager, select the base item you want to add a new configuration to.
In the SCM menu, point to Configuration Management and select Add and Commit New Configuration.
The Add and Commit Configuration dialog box (Simple Mode) opens. It contains the selected item and its referenced items in the Configurations table.
Click on Add and Commit.
The second page of the Add and Commit Configuration dialog box (Simple Mode) opens. It contains the selected item in the Configurations table.
Click the Add and Commit Configuration button to add a new configuration to the repository.
