Managing Configurations in the XETK Configuration Tool
A configuration is the virtual representation of all settings of an ETK device. It is always assigned to one specific ETK device type and always exists as a part of a project. An ETK configuration is valid, if it represents an ETK device in such a way that it works properly together with the ECU.
'Download' and 'upload' are the ways to interchange configurations between the XETK Configuration Tool and the ETK device.
The XETK Configuration Tool offers the following functions to work with configurations:
- Append new Configuration
- Move or Copy the Current Configuration to Another Project
- Compare two Configurations
- Compare Configuration against ETK Device
- Delete Configuration
- Download Configuration to ETK Device
- Upload from ETK Device as a new Project
- Upload from ETK Device as new Configuration
- Upload from ETK Device by overwriting the active Configuration
