Interchanging Configurations between Tool and (X)ETK Device

'Download' and 'upload' are the means to interchange configurations between the XETK Configuration Tool and the (X)ETK device. An upload can be accomplished in three ways, a download in two ways:

• Download means to load the active configuration from the active (X)ETK configuration to an (X)ETK device that is listed in the Hardware Device List. 
• Via Upload from (X)ETK Device as a new Project the XETK Configuration Tool creates a new project file with one configuration where the configuration data of the (X)ETK device get copied to.
• Via Upload from (X)ETK Device as new Configuration the XETK Configuration Tool creates a new configuration within the project of the active configuration and fills it with the configuration data of the (X)ETK device.
• Via Upload from (X)ETK Device by overwriting the active Configuration the XETK Configuration Tool copies the configuration data of the (X)ETK device into the active configuration. Thus the active configuration is overwritten.
