Generate A2L Entries Dialog Box
The XETK Configuration Tool offers the possibility to generate a text file (*.txt) which contains all A2L entries related to the selected configuration. In this dialog box, you can select what shall be exported to file.
This dialog box contains the following fields and buttons:
ETK_XETK checkbox with dropdown selection.
If you tick this checkbox, the generated text file will contain IF_DATA ETK_XETK entries for INCA use. Select which AML version shall be used for writing the A2L text file.
XCP checkbox with dropdown selection.
If you tick this checkbox, the generated text file will contain IF_DATA XCP entries for all tools using XETK as standard XCP client (i.e. other than INCA). The checkbox "Include TDM Rasters" as well as the Hardware Settings group get activated. Select which AML version shall be used for writing the A2L text file.
Include TDM Rasters checkbox
This checkbox is only enabled if the XCP checkbox is ticked.
Use this checkbox to decide whether Triggered Direct Measurement (TDM) rasters are to be written to the A2L text file as well.
Warning:
The usage of Triggered Direct Measurement (TDM) rasters for bypass applications can lead to inconsistent signal values. Therefore do NOT use Triggered Direct Measurement rasters for bypass applications!
SYNCHRONIZED_DMA_STIM checkbox
If you tick this checkbox, the generated text file will contain IF_DATA SYNCHRONIZED_DMA_STIM entries for using the Synchronized DMA Stim bypass method in any bypass tool.
To grant access to the Hardware Settings group, tick the XCP checkbox in the IF_DATA group.

XCP Port
Specify the XCP port.
