License Manager Installation on Windows

Download of installation package

1. Open the ETAS license and download portal using this link.

2. Click the following file: (en) LiMa (ETAS License Manager) V1.9.x.

   The file details opens.

3. To download the package, click Download.

   The package is downloaded and saved to the configured download folder.

   The installation package is provided as a ZIP file.

4. Unzip the installation package.

Installing LiMa

Note
You need administrator rights to perform the installation.

1. Navigate to the unzipped folder.

   There is one folder for Windows and one folder for Linux.

2. Navigate to the windows folder.

3. To start the installation, double-click the install_LiMa_MSIs file.

   The installation starts and a CMD window opens.

4. To finish the installation and continue, press any key in the CMD window.

After installing and opening, you you find a list of features (tailored to your installed product), where features marked in red are currently unavailable. For more information, see Checking the License Status.

Installing FNP based licenses

To install a FNP based license, follow the steps described in To install a machine-based license.

You need to add the users username to the etas.opt file.
