Generic Communication Error

In some cases, the communication to the ETAS server fails. The License Manager reports a data transfer failure or a communication error.

Cause

There are communication issues, for example, internet connection is blocked by your local IT department).

Solution

Proceed as follows:

  • Check your proxy settings and adjust them accordingly, see Setting User Options.

  • Click Device > Settings.

  • Click Test Connection to verify the connection. A message explaining the possible issue appears.
