Process Meta Data

INCA, in combination with INCA-QM-BASIC, supports Process Data Management in parallel to the Quality Data Management. Process data provide additional information on a calibration. They comprise the following types of data:

• Calibration Methodology

  The calibration methodology can be used to add an information to a parameter or function indicating which calibration method shall be used.

  Calibration methodology values are defined in the appHistory.ini file. You must not change them! If they are changed, data exchange with other users cannot be guaranteed!

• Calibration Behavior

  Information on the calibration behavior is added by assigning a free text with calibration notes to a calibration. The text can be edited.

The process data is usually generated by the enterprise CDM system. It can be edited and used for filtering in INCA. When editing process data, the credentials of the responsible user and date and time of the modification will automatically be added.

Process data can only be saved in datasets or in CDF V2.0 files. If data are saved to a different file exchange format, the process data will not be saved in that file.
