Saving a Dataset to a File

To save a dataset to a file:

In the Dataset menu, select Write Dataset to File.
Select the corresponding menu function:
- Working Page Only to save the working dataset
- Working Page and Code Page to save the working dataset and the code page
- Reference Page Only to save the reference dataset
- Reference Page and Code Page to save the reference dataset and the code page
A file selection dialog box opens.
Enter a file name.
Select the file type for the dataset you want to save.
As file type, you can use the INTEL HEX format or the Motorola S-Record format with the required file name extension.
You can define the file name extension in your user options.
Click Save.
The selected data is written to the file.
