HEX File

The data for working datasets, reference datasets and code page can be written to and read from the following file formats:

• INTEL HEX format (default file name extension: .hex)
• Motorola S-Record format (default file name extension: .s19)

You can assign any file name extension to the two file formats (e.g., .ppt instead of .s19; .h32 instead of .hex).

You can change the default settings for file name extensions for the INTEL HEX format or the Motorola S-Record format in your user options.
