ETK
The ETK emulates part of the hardwired control device memory using a freely writable RAM.
The ETK is connected to all bus lines of the control device processor and, depending on the control device, replaces wither the code page and datasets or just the datasets. The ETK also provides RAM capacity for transferring measure data from the control device to the application system.
In addition to the RAM, the ETK also has a flash-EPROM on its circuit board. This is used for saving applied data on the ETK.
The ETK can be connected to the control device internally or externally. The control device not does detect whether the program is running from the control device FLASH or the ETK.
