Module Parameters for FlexRay Interface
The following shows the module parameters for the FlexRay interface:
Defines the cluster in the FIBEX file with which the FlexRay interface is to be connected. This information is required for configuring the FlexRay controller.
Defines which FlexRay controller will be used to configure the communication controller.
Defines the startup slot for the communication controller. You can select a slot from all static slots to be used for the startup functionality.
To get a FlexRay bus running, it it necessary that startup frames are transmitted in at least two slots. If this requirement is not yet fulfilled by the ECUs connected to the bus, it is required to select one or two startup slots in INCA.
Note that if you select a startup slot, the FlexRay communication controller used in INCA actively transmits a startup frame in that slot. If another ECU is already transmitting frames in that slot on the FlexRay bus, this leads to collisions and undefined behavior.
This parameter is only available for modules that support the second startup slot functionality.
You can select a slot from all static slots to be used for startup functionality, except for the slot already used in the Startup Slot field. For further information, see Startup Slot description above.
