Making Sensor Offset Compensation
To make a sensor offset compensation:
- On the Hardware devices list, mark the device for whose channels you want to make a sensor offset.
Select the Channels tab.
The channels depend on the currently marked device.
To enter a sensor offset manually:
In the Sensor Offset Mode column, select manual.
The table row is underlaid red.
- Enter a value in the Sensor Offset column.
To make an automatic offset compensation:
In the Sensor Offset Mode column, select the corresponding setting (the table row is underlaid red):
automatic phys to enter a physical reference value.
Enter a value in the Phys Reference Value column.
automatic sensor to enter a sensor reference value.
Enter a value in the Sensor Reference Value column.
On the Hardware menu, select Automatic sensor offset adaption.
A message appears, telling you that measurements are starting for the comparison. You can start or cancel.
Click OK.
The Result of automatic sensor offset adaption dialog box opens and INCA shows the result of the offset calculation. You can discard the results or have them recalculated.
Click OK.
The calculated values are added to the Channels tab.
