Calibration Using ETK

The individual ETK types basically differ in the sort and scope of ECU memory emulation. ETK can emulate either the ECU program and data or only data without any program element. These differences take effect in INCA in the Memory Page Manager via an available corresponding function.

Regardless of the ETK type and the PC interface used, various acquisition rates are supported. The new generation ETK types (connected via Ethernet) support, in fact, 16 different acquisition rates; the maximum transfer rate is 100 Mbit/s. It is defined in the project file which acquisition rate should currently be used. The ETK type is recognized by means of the firmware in the ETAS hardware.

Regardless what ETK type you use, the parameterization described here applies equally for all ETK types.
