Parameters for ES930: Analog Out Tab
The ES930 allows for generating analog output, for example of ECU data. In a typical rapid prototyping use case, the ES910 is acquiring ECU data via the ETK and assigns the data via the rapid prototyping model to an analog output channel of the ES930. The ETK data is converted and scaled as desired and then displayed in analog form.
4 analog output channels are provided by the ES930, which can be configured in the Analog Out tab.
Note |
Some parameters in this tab are underlaid orange. These operating parameters are applied to the device (and stored persistently) upon measurement start or chain initialization. Moreover, you can apply them explicitly by selecting Apply Operating Parameters from the context menu. |
Shows a consecutive number for each entry in the hardware configuration table.
You cannot edit this field.
Use this checkbox to enable or disable this signal for further configuration steps.
Disabled signals will not be available in the Experiment Environment.
You can also use the context menu commands Enable All Channels and Disable All Channels to enable or disable all channels at once that are displayed on the selected tab.
Shows the name of the output channel.
Enter the unit according to the signal to be measured.
The selected unit appears in the corresponding measure windows.
You can update analog output signals synchronously with other analog output signals. Signals that shall be updated synchronously must be assigned to the same update mode group.
Individual
The analog output signal is not updated synchronously with other analog output signals.
Group X / Y
The analog output signal is assigned to the update mode group with the corresponding name.
Sets the initial value of the output voltage at the analog output channel. Then it is also valid after power on of the device. This ensures that the actuators which are controlled by the ES930 device get adequate signals during the power on phase, even before initialization (e.g. by a rapid prototyping model) has been finished.

This tab displays both the current values in the configuration program and the values in the connected device itself. If you want to transfer the value set in the configuration program to the device before measurement start or chain initialization, you must explicitly apply it by selecting Apply Operating Parameters from the context menu. |
Enter any comment for that signal. The comment may be displayed along with the signal in some dialogs in the rapid prototyping or measurement and calibration tool used.
Note |
You can only enter a comment for signals that are selected in the Sel. column. |
