Mapping Hardware Automatically

You can make these settings only if you have changed the connections manually but want to restore the INCA suggestion.

To map connected hardware automatically if there are hardware of the same type in the workspace:

  1. In the Hardware menu, select Hardware Mapping.

    The Hardware Mapping dialog box opens. The INCA Hardware Configuration displays the hardware created in INCA, and the Detected Hardware field displays connected devices.

  2. Click Autoconnect.

    The hardware is connected according to their identical serial number, their identical internal name (alias), or their identical type. The connections are displayed in the Connected field and identified by different symbols.
