Writing Characteristic Lines to a Device
You can download characteristic lines that are saved in the Daisy Chain configuration program to an ES43x or ES63x Lambda device and save it in the device itself.
Writing selected lines to the device is only supported for
Lambda devices of the ES43x and ES63x families.
Writing characteristic lines to an ES43x Lambda device is only possible
in advanced device mode.
When you write lines to an ES63x device, you can select from a list which lines you want to download. For ES43x devices, you simply select the desired Lambda from a combo-box on the Properties tab, and the line is applied immediately to the device.
To download characteristic lines from the Daisy Chain configuration program to an ES43x Lambda device:
- Select the ES43x device in the Topology list.
On the Properties tab, select the Lambda line from the combo-box which contains the Lambda lines.
The new Lambda line is applied immediately to the device.
To download characteristic lines from the Daisy Chain configuration program to an ES63x Lambda device:
- Select the ES63x device in the Topology list whose characteristic lines you would like to write to the device.
In the Device menu, select Write Lines.
The Write Lines dialog opens. It lists all lines that are saved in the Daisy Chain configuration program for that device type.
Select the lines that you would like to download by clicking on the line. If you would like to select more than one line, you can use the Shift or Ctrl key for multi-selection of several lines.
Note
A maximum of 12 lines per line type (e.g. heater line or Lambda line) can be stored in a device.
- Click Write Lines to Device to download the selected lines from the Daisy Chain configuration program to the hardware device.
- Click OK to close the dialog.
