Importing a Measurement Scheme via CSV File

Importing channel parameters from a CSV file is supported for the following modules:

Existing modules are automatically modified and new modules are added to the hardware configuration. For new modules, the device name, serial number, or alias name is used to identify the device.

Note

The import process for CSV files of the ES4xx daisy chain modules is different from that for the ES6xx modules. If you want to import measurement schemes for both module groups, you can include them into a single CSV file, but you have to go through both import processes described below. During the import process for the ES4xx modules, the ES6xx modules are ignored and vice versa.

To import a measurement scheme for ES610, ES611, ES620, ES650 via CSV file:

  1. In the Hardware Configuration Editor Hardware: hw Experiment: exp window, click Device.

  2. In the Device menu, select Import Measurement Scheme....
  3. Select the CSV file that contains the measurement scheme.

  4. Click Open.

The measurement scheme is imported into your workspace.

To import an ES4xx daisy chain measurement scheme via CSV file:

  1. In the Hardware Configuration Editor Hardware: hw Experiment: exp window, add at least one daisy chain module.

  2. Select a daisy chain module and click Configure.

    The Hardware Configuration window opens.

  3. In the File menu, select Import Measurement Scheme....
  4. Select the CSV file that contains the measurement scheme.
