Freezing a Working Dataset

To define the working dataset as the reference dataset:

In the Dataset menu, select Freeze working data.

	The device is inactive. This status is used only for certain devices, e.g. ODX Flash devices.
	The device was successfully initialized.
	The device is not initialized or not connected.
	The device is physically available, but can not be accessed.
	The hardware status cannot be detected. This status may only occur for 3rd party hardware devices.

The Freeze working data for device dialog box opens.

Enter a name for the new reference dataset.
Click OK.
The working dataset is saved as the new reference dataset. A new working dataset is created.
