Recording Calibration Activities

Depending on the user option settings for the CalibrationRecording option in the Database Manager, you can enable or disable recording of calibration activities for all variables.

To record calibration activities for specific variables in the current experiment:

  1. In the Variables menu, select Variable Configuration.

The Variable Selection dialog opens on the Configure Variables tab.

  2. Navigate to the corresponding calibration in the experiment structure in the Variable Configuration window.
  3. Selected the desired recording status for the desired calibration in the table columns:

    • Record Only: The calibration activities are recorded, but not displayed in the experiment.
    • Default Recorder: The calibration activities are recorded with the default recorder.
  4. Click OK.

The calibration activities are recorded in MDF format in the calibration file (file name extension .dat or .mf4) and can be analyzed in MDA.
