Saving a Variable User Interface

To save a variable user interface to a file:

If you have already saved the variable user interface, and you want to change its name, open the File menu and select Save Layout.
The variable user interface is saved under the old file name.
or
If you want to specify the file name:
1. In the File menu, select Save Layout as.
  A file selection dialog box opens.
2. Specify a file name. The file name extension must be .vui.
3. Click Save.
  The variable user interface is saved under the specified file name.
