Recorder Configuration - Triggers
To open this dialog box, in the Experiment Environment
click
> Triggers tab.
This tab is divided into the following trigger sections:
Trigger off
- Record Duration
Select the recording duration.
Trigger on

Start trigger
Select the desired start condition for the recorder. Clicking on the
opens the trigger editor. Here, you can
edit existing triggers
and create new ones.

Stop trigger
Select the desired stop condition for the recorder Clicking on the
icon opens the trigger editor. Here,
you can edit existing triggers and create new ones.

Pre start trigger time
Adjust the time duration that should be recorded before the start trigger takes effect.
Note
This option is available only if a start trigger has been defined.

Record Duration
Select the recording duration.

Post stop trigger time
Adjust the time duration that should be recorded after the stop trigger takes effect.
Note
This option is available only if a start trigger has been defined.
Actions

Repetitions
Enter how often the recording should be repeated. The recordings are attached at the end of the measurement file. Any existing recordings are retained.
Note
If the interval between the end of recording and reactivation of a start trigger is less than one second, there is a possibility that the end of this interval will not be considered in the measurement file.
Option is grayed out, if status is "Trigger off".

Store repeats in separate files
Enable this option if a separate measurement file should be created for every repetition.

Extend recording on new start event
Activate this option if you want the set recording time to start again if a new trigger event occurs during the recording.
Example: The duration of a recording is set to 10 seconds. However, 5 seconds after starting a triggered measurement, another trigger occurs, and the measurement will continue for another 10 seconds.
You can also assign acoustic signals being played when a trigger occurs. This can be configured in the Windows Control Panel under Sounds and Audio Devices. For further information see the INCA Getting Started manual.
Management of Trigger Configurations
- Import stored trigger configuration
- Export current trigger configuration
The file format of stored configurations is *.txml.
