Enabling and Disabling a Recorder

A recorder whose Enable column shows the icon does not yet contain any measurement variables (see Creating a New Recorder) or has no defined valid trigger condition. These recorders cannot be enabled.

To enable a recorder

A recorder can only be enabled if it has already been assigned variables to be measured. Recorders that can be enabled are identified by the icon in the Enable column.

Click on the icon in the Enable column or select the Enable Recorder (Spacebar) command in the context menu to enable the respective recorder.

To enable all recorders simultaneously

To enable all recorders on the recorder list at the same time, click on the icon in the toolbar.

To disable a recorder

Enabled recorders are identified by the icon in the Enable column.

Click on the icon in the Enable column or select the Disable Recorder (Spacebar) command in the context menu to disable the respective recorder.

To disable all recorders simultaneously

To disable all recorders on the recorder list at the same time, click on the icon in the toolbar.

Note
You can (de)activate either individual recorders or all recorders. It is not possible to enable or disable a selection of recorders at the same time.
