Editing Default Comment

To add additional variables to the INCA default comment:

  1. In the context menu, select the Open Recorder Configuration (Ins) command or double-click on the desired recorder.

    The dialog box Recorder Configuration opens.

  2. Select the Output File tab.
  3. Enable the Insert default comment check box.

    The Edit Comment button is enabled.

  4. Click on Edit.

    The Default Comment Editor dialog box opens.

  5. Add, remove and order the variables as desired:

    • To add a variable:

      1. In the Available Comments area, select the variable to be inserted.
      2. Click .

        The selected variable is moved to the Used Comments area and applied to the INCA default comment.

    • To remove a variable:

      1. In the Used Comments area, select the variable to be removed.
      2. Click .

        The selected variable is moved to the Available Comments area and no longer applied to the INCA default comment.

    • To order variables:

      1. In the Used Comments area, select the variable to be moved.
      2. Click on to move the variable up.
      3. Click on to move the variable down.
  6. Click OK to accept your changes for the variables to be used in the default comment.

    The definition of the default comment is shown in the upper Comment field (with gray background color).

  7. Click OK to save your changes to the recorder configuration.
