Configuring a Recorder

To configure a recorder:

  1. In the Experiment Environment, select from the Measurement menu the command Open Recorder Configuration (Ctrl + q), or click  in the toolbar. The recorder configuration is opened.

    Then select the recorder which you want to edit.

  2. Select the recorder to be configured in the recorder list of the recorder manager.

    In the context menu, select the command Open recorder configuration or double click on the desired recorder to open the recorder configuration.

  3. Define settings for the measurement file on the Output File tab (see Defining an Output File).
  4. On the Recording tab, define whether the recorder should be enabled automatically upon opening the experiment. For this purpose, select the Auto-enabled option.
  5. Define the settings for the measurement reduction (see Using measurement reduction).
  6. If you want to use triggers for the recording start and recording end, define settings for the trigger on the Triggers tab.
  7. On the MDA tab, define settings for calling the measurement analyzer:

    1. In the MDA settings group field, define the call criteria after finishing a measurement recording:
    2. In the Snapshot settings group field, define the call criteria during an ongoing measurement recording:

    Note

    This option is available only for the default recorder.

  8. Click OK.

    The settings you made are accepted.
